Terms and Conditions
Eco Manu Lodge operates in the Cusco, Manu, and Tambopata Reserve region. The organization of services, accommodation, transportation, meals, and the entire package offered is carried out with great care. Traveling in Peru requires flexibility, patience, a positive attitude, good humor, and an understanding of changes that may occur without notice due to circumstances beyond our control.
- Final Payment: All services must be fully paid 1 week before the start of the tour. In case the client deposits 50% of the total tour cost, they must pay the full amount 3 days before the tour departure date using any of the payment options mentioned above or directly at our office in Cusco.
- Tour Cost: Prices are per person and based on double occupancy. If traveling alone, you are required to pay the single room supplement. Children aged 3 to 8 pay only 50%.
- Not Included: Flight tickets or bus tickets within Peru’s internal cities are not included. We can arrange the entire service and put it together as a travel package for you if desired.
- It is strongly recommended to obtain travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, emergency rescue, and air ambulance. It should also cover cancellations and loss of luggage.
- In case of flight or bus cancellation from Lima – Cusco to Puerto Maldonado due to bad weather or mechanical problems, “companies have their own conditions for each reservation and service”.
- Tour Cancellation by the Client. If not traveling:
- If the client cancels the trip within 2 to 1 months, 50% of the deposit made will be retained.
- If the client cancels the trip within 1 month to 8 days, they lose 50% of the total tour cost.
- If the client cancels the trip within 8 days, the “no show” policy applies, and they will lose the total payment made.
- Eco Manu Lodge acts only as an agent in the legal capacity of the conditions exercised. Eco Manu Lodge is not responsible for any illness, injury, damage, loss of objects, and others due to the negligence of the participant or other situations such as natural disasters and civil conflict that are beyond our control. Eco Manu Lodge reserves the right to change, postpone as the situation requires, or even cancel the trip (this is the last option to be applied).
